Earlier this year, we asked our Members what they would like to see at the Edward Alderton Theatre. And as well as showing huge support for our usual season of plays (check out the full season here!), people were keen to welcome guest productions into our theatre.

We’ve started by inviting some friends of the EAT to bring their shows to us for one night only, in between our scheduled productions. It’s enabling us to offer even more first class entertainment to the local community. We hope that our Members and Supporters will come along and support these additions to the calendar!

A Night at the Musicals
Saturday 8^th November 2025, 5.30pm and 8pm

The Theatre Box Choir will perform all your favourite show tunes – with special guest stars from London’s West End!

Ambiguous Proposition
Saturday 21^st February 2026

A one-woman show, performed by Hilary Cordery, examining a sexual harassment case from the POV of the alleged harrasser’s mother.

Blood Me Up, Marjorie!
Saturday 30^th May 2026

A hilarious look behind the scenes of a murder mystery, where all is not as it seems – can the actors keep their event alive and their dead body dead!

We’re delighted to be able to welcome new writing and musical theatre to the EAT. Don’t worry, we have no plans to replace our in-house productions, but hope that we can welcome new audiences to our theatre with this great mix of comedy, drama and music – audiences who hopefully will want to come again!
