Member Bookings
 Tickets for all in-house productions* cost £14, reduced to £12 for EAT members. You will need to input your membership number as part of the checkout process. If you’ve forgotten your number, email membership@edwardalderton.org for a reminder. If you’re not a member, why not join us and take advantage of discounted tickets while you support your local theatre! Find out more about membership here.

Book in Person
If you want to avoid paying the online booking fee, you can also book for any of our productions in person, either at the Wednesday Night Social (every week from 8pm except show weeks) or during the interval when you come to the theatre to see a show. You can also book your tickets on the door on a performance night, although of course you do run the risk of there being no seats left. We can take cash or card payments.    

Access
We regret that the theatre is not currently fully accessible. There is disabled access to the auditorium via a rear door and capacity for one wheelchair, but our toilets are not accessible. Improving access throughout the building is a top fundraising priority for us.    

Group Bookings 
If you would like to bring a large group to one of our productions, we can offer a discounted rate for tickets for any group of 8+ people.    

Relaxed Performances 
For some people, particularly those who are neurodivergent, have additional learning needs, or sensory sensitivities, a live theatre performance can be overwhelming and stressful. Relaxed performances are adapted in a number of ways to reduce anxiety and create a supportive atmosphere (for example, keeping house lights up, removing loud noises or strobe lighting effects). We want to make the Edward Alderton Theatre fully inclusive. If you would be interested in bringing somebody along to a more relaxed environment, we would be very happy to discuss further.

Welcoming you to your booked performance 

When you book, you’ll receive an email confirmation that includes all the details and Terms & Conditions of the booking. When you come along to your booked performance, give your name to the Box Office volunteers and they’ll check you in. If you’ve you’re your email confirmation and forgotten your seat number(s) they can remind you!    

Refunds and Exchanges 

Tickets are non-refundable. However, we know that circumstances and plans can change, so we allow you to exchange tickets for a different night during a play’s run, or for a different production altogether. We can only exchange for tickets of the same or higher value and you need to make the exchange 48 hours before your original booking. 

If you have booked your seats online via TicketSource, you can manage the exchange yourself. Click on the “Manage My Booking” link at the bottom of your confirmation email. TicketSource will then ask you to input your name to generate a 'magic link' that will enable you to make the required change. 

If you booked your ticket in person at the theatre, you will have received an email confirmation and can still generate the link that takes you through to your booking. But instead of managing the exchange yourself, you will need to click on the “Ask a question” button and enter the details of your exchange request in the box provided (night booked and details of new performance and seats required). This will send a message to the theatre and we will manage the exchange for you.
