Daniel Francis MP for Bexleyheath and Crayford visits the EAT

Open Day at the EAT

We’re lucky to have very loyal members and supporters at the EAT but always want to welcome new people to our little theatre.

On Sunday 7th June we opened our doors to let people have a look behind the scenes, meet the members and find out how they could get involved!

Our “backstage tour” might not be as grand or take as long as a tour of the London Palladium, but it’s always exciting to stand on a new stage, whether you’re a seasoned professional or it’s your first time on the other side of the footlights.

It was also a chance to give people a look at the fancy new tech that was installed last summer. We’re always looking for people to help with lighting and sound for our productions and there was plenty of interest from visitors who we hope will soon become regulars at the EAT!

Daniel Francis, MP for Bexleyheath and Crayford, popped in, enjoyed a tour and then a chat with the team. He’s very active in the local community and is looking forward to sharing what’s going on at the theatre with his social media followers and newsletter subscribers.

We’ll definitely be holding more events like this – a chance to get together and talk about our favourite theatre!

Welcoming Daniel Francis MP (Bexleyheath and Crayford) to the EAT!
