It's A Wonderful Life A Live Radio Play Based on the story, The Greatest GIft by Philip Van Doren Stern, adapted by Joe LandryDirected by Lindsay Dale 9th - 16th December 2023 This play, which takes the form of a live radio broadcast, is unashamedly based on the Christmas classic movie from 1946, which was directed by Frank Capra and starred James Stewart as George Bailey. George Bailey gives up all his personal dreams to help others and has made a happy life in his home town Bedford Falls, married to local girl Mary. When times are tough and George reaches crisis point, a guardian angel, Clarencce, is sent down from Heaven to intervene and show George what the world would have been like without his existence.
