Previews

On stage

Cricket comedy Outside Edge is being presented at the Edward Alderton Theatre, Brampton Road, Bexleyheath, from October 3 to 10 (October 4 excluded). A quiet Saturday afternoon in high summer, a friendly and civilized cricket match in prospect...what could be more dull you may think. But then you have not met the dreadful Roger and the rest of his truly average team set on winning their annual match against British Rail Maintenance Division Yeading East. If you love cricket (and definitely if you hate it) you should laugh your way through every ball in this well observed episode of English life.
