'Gaslight' | 16th - 23rd February 2019 Author: Patrick Hamiliton | Directed by Ian Welch A classic Victorian thriller first produced in 1935. Jack Manningham’s younger wife, Bella, seems to be suffering from paranoid delusions - or is she? She seems to be sinking further and further into despair and insanity, despite all that is apparently being done to help her. She feels hopeless and abandoned, until a dastardly plot is uncovered by the tenacious Inspector Rough, who believes Bella to be the victim of an evil plot. After a gripping and tense series of discoveries, Rough gradually reveals the ghastly truth.
