Twelfth Night
by William Shakespeare

Directed by Paul Jennings

10-17 May 1986 (7 performances)

Viola and her twin brother Sebastian are shipwrecked off the coast of Illyria, a Mediterranean island, and are rescued separately, believing each other dead. Viola disguises herself as a man and finds employment with the Duke Orsino, who is in love with Countess Olivia. Sir Toby Belch, Olivia's uncle, plots with his co-conspirators to affect the humiliation of Malvolio, her officious steward. Mistaken identity, high romance and injured pride are brought together to make this one of Shakespeare's finest comedies...
